Hi!

Just noticed the added picture seems to be from an 1913 triplace version of the n°XXV while the original was from 1911 and this is one seat one!
But the other drawings are from the single seat one!

Hi!

Sorry but the Blériot XXV 1911 was indeed a biplace!

Bill Hannan 3-view drawing of Bleriot XXV

DennisK,

Are you aware of the 3-view drawing available from Bill Hannan of Hannan's Runway? I think the drawing was published in one of his books, but he apparently also sells it separately for $1.50 US. He gives the names of the historical reference material he used on the 3-view. See here for more details:

http://www.hrunway.com/tom_hallman.htm
http://www.hrunway.com/bleriot25.htm

Also Peck-Polymers still sells a model plan by Bill Hannan for 15" span rubber-powered version which features all-sheet balsa construction. www.peck-polymers.com

I hope this helps.

Thanks greenknight,
I was not aware of the 3view,I'll look into that.
That model really looks the part, beautiful.
I have the peanut plan from the second link and am considering it for a future build.I've heard it's supposed to be a very good flyer.
jempie,
Can you send me the info to Dennis.Kollarits@hvbdirekt.at?
I have never seen a photo of the original, did it fly?
If you all want a copy of the plan just let me know.
appreciate it,

Dennis

Gents (and ladies!) this is a VERY cool aircraft that I never knew anything about. Any more details? Did it fly? Were there more than one built? Any more sources of information?
