Photos of Roberts Engine, Please?

Does anyone have some decent photos of the Roberts 75 hp 6-cyl engine? I'm planning on a model of the Benoist Type XII and am having a hard time finding pictures of the engine.

Thanks in advance,

Eric

Hi Eric,
The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome has had a Roberts on loan to the St. Petersburg Museum in FL for many years now...I've never seen the engine in person, but I've seen pictures of it and it looks to be in beautiful shape. They also have a 50hp, 4-cylinder version at Rhinebeck (that one is not in as nice shape though). I may have some pictures of the 50 hp version if you are interested.

I also found a photo of the 75HP Roberts in the pre-WWI edition of Janes All the World's Aircraft. It is a profile photo (right side), but all I have is a photo-copy of it. Want me to try to scan it for you?

I seem to recall seeing Roberts engines at other av museums too - maybe at Dayton or at NASM in the early flight section.

ROBERTS engine in flight

Hi, Eric,
I've uploaded a cropped image of the Korn Brothers' Benoist XII ROBERTS engine, in flight. I have a couple of Roberts engine brochures, so let me know if you found what you needed or if you're still looking.
Best,
cfgray
