It looks like a variation on a Voisin. Perhaps it's an early version?

Half-way there. It's a Voisin, but which one? Doc

I'll hazard a guess. Is it the Voisin "Type de Course" racing biplane that was built for Henri Rougier? Not too sure of the year, but perhaps 1910 or 1911 judging by the aileron design.

Cheers,
Paul

I think we will have to call that one a tie between Maten and Aerohydro. You have both identified it, just in different languages. Voisin, Type "Course". Built for Rougier. Wingspan 9 meters, weight 280 kg, wing surface area 33 square meters, length 9 meters. 50 HP ENV engine.

Congratulations. Everybody is too good-- I'll have to find a few more obscure ones. Doc

Wasn't the Voisin Racer built in 1909?

Sorry, but I don't know. I had thought 1909, but some other things I have say 1910. Doc
