Fokker Spinne

I'm starting this new thread on the Fokker Spinne to see how much info there is out there photos, drawings, documents etc.
I've been busy with the Spinne for about thirdteen years now, since the original 1913 came back to Holland from Krakow Poland.
My aim is to get a overlook on all types being build from 1911 until 1913.
Last year I've been involved restoring the 1936 Spinne wich will be flown this year, also I did a intens study for the 1913 Spinne wich I put on drawing before any restoration was begun. This lead to the following discovery, when I was comparing photos I found one wich showed a bracing plate in the same shape as on the Krakow Spinne so I compared my photo standing at the aircraft and what did my eye see! The front part of the fuselage beam showed the same woodgrain as on the photo!!!! So this is a 100% indentification, now I'm busy to get the Aviodrome so far that there will be a new restoration of the plane to its 1913 configuration. So if there is anybody out there with more on the Spinne I'd be glad to hear from you.

The Fokker Eindecker in Action from Squadron Publishing (Number 158) has some photos of the Fokker Spin 3 and also has a side view profile drawing of the Spin 1 and Spin 3. The book also discusses the Spin series briefly in the book's introduction page. Hopefully this will be of help to you.

Ed,

Those are photos of the 1913 Spinne at the Aviodrome museum.
Here it is in the configuration as it was on some 1920/30s photos.
Open fuselage and 75hp enault engine, this crate was stolen by Herman Goering and send to the Berlin museum in 1941 I think. Fokker brought this plane to Holland after the war in pieces and it was assambled in 1921 at the new Fokker plant in Amsterdam. Now when it came to Holland it was not complete anymore, the nacelle, main fuel tank, oil tank and Argus engine were missing.
So it was build up using a Renault engine wich was at hand. Problem is that allot of people see photos of his one thinking it was build and flew like this.
And thats a big NO!!! This is the same plane but than in 1913.
The guy in the back is Bernard de Waal a good friend of Fokker and a flying instructor at Fokkers flying school at Johannisthal. The guy in front is Kunter also a Fokker employee.

And my aim is to restore it to this configuration.
I finaly know how to get these photos in here

Please help wanted

Again I make a request to all of you out there if you have anything on the Fokker Spinne, documents, not published photos or other please let me know.
I'm not looking for small or off to scale drawings but reliable sources.
Also anything on HZ or Windhoff radiators, Argus engines and Garuda propellers would help me allot.

Willem
