Hi Torsten.
The Coanda 1910 turbine plane is an interesting choice, especially as it did not fly or at best made a small 'hop' and then burned down.
For your information:
- there is a
full scale replica in the Armed Forces Museum, Bucharest. As you know of course Henri Coanda was a Rumanian.
- Coanda have filed during his life a whole host of patents in quite a lot of different countries (France, Swiss, Great Britain, USA and perhaps others), there are which seem to describe the construction of the turbine used for the revolutionary 1910 machine of Coanda. I enclose French patent
418.401 from 1910, detailing the turbine construction.
This is a collage of a few of the patent drawings of this patent.
To get more on the Coanda 1910 machine you should consult the book by Opdycke - French aeroplanes before the great war ISBN0764307525 which contains a few unique pictures from the turbine engine, which are from the priceless archives from the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace in Paris.
Cheers
