I checked the print; the 3 1/8 hole is only if you didn’t want to use blind nuts on the outer part of the spar. We are good to go.

Plans for 2007
The New Zealanders recently have the record for the most Triplanes (5) at one gathering then? At Dayton DP05 there were 3, is the plan to break that and reach maybe 6?

14 years ago there were four in the air, and a couple unfinished on the ground at Aerodrome 92..

Well.. its still a ways off but we hope to bring one or both of the GWFM tripes to DP2007. So assuming the the from last time all attend that'll get us up to 5. Any other takers?

i can't remember if Ed & I are part of the 5. Andy, Rex or JoePilot will need to be ready! DogTail2 will need long range fuel tanks to bring his. Whoever buys Ross' will hopefully come with it too. let's break that record! Worldcruiser??
