Picked up some magzines at a flymarket 2 weeks ago and found this. Thought you folks would be interested.
Anyone know what became of this plane? Did it appear in any movies?

Thanks for sharing this ulpilot. I was only 2 years old when this article was published! I too wonder if this aircraft was used in any films, and where it is now. Interesting, the article says it was built in about a year's time.... that's a big "wow" right there! Prophetically, the article refers to many more of these aircraft that would be built in the future....and here we are!

Here she is.
Our Foundation owns her and she is at the moment on loan in the Stampe Vertongen Museum in Antwerp. But she'll be back in Lelystad soon it will be flown in from Antwerp.

how time flies...
imagine, this tripe was built nearly 50 years ago, and "only" 40 years after the real show!!!
can i get addresses of the best ww1 aircraft exhibits in holland? i will be visiting in september. thanks

Because of the center wing cutout and the type of tail wheel it has, it looks like a Walt Redfern plane. Were his plans available at this time or could the builders of this plane have inspired him?

The fuselage is a cutup from another type and shaped to resamble a Fokker frame so that saves building time.
