The jig empty - I made the addition of a thin piece of heat down countertop laminate after I almost glued my first rib to the jig !

The first day and nearly 100 people visited this particular forum- a great start! Spoke with Rex by phone tonight- he will be a great resource to us all- send photos! I promise that tomorrow I will send some pics of my humble shop- look for it to fill up! Worldcruiser, would love to see photos from you. Fokker210, your shot of newly arrived rib materials gives me hope- Wicks should have mine here soon, probably just in time for me to go to Chicago for that particular weekend!

Glad to see the repiles, hopefully we will see more !
For those just starting on the ribs, this tool is a must !! Go to www.micromark.com and check out their corner punch - it is perfect for creating those square holes at the rear of the full length ribs. It works like a charm and is fast and neat !

Part # 81652 5/16 Corner Punch
Price $ 19.95 and worth every dime !

Also, a pic of my capstrip bending jig.

The pile of ribs is starting to grow ! You can see the smaller individual rib pieces at the rear of the table waiting to go together.

Fokker210 keeps a tidy shop! I'd better follow his example before I take the promised photos. Anyone like pumping 1900-1917 music into their shop for Ambience?
