Oooooo....thats such a pretty engine!
I wrote Rotec for a price quote. But something tells me I'm going to be in for sticker shock.
So what do you think......10K...20K ?
Still....I would so love to see a radial in my bird over an opposed engine.

...it adds up!

looks like the Rotec R2800 is USD$18,500 by the time you get everything on it you might need- incl. one of their longer propellers.

Just a suggestion, but if a person were to visit the Rotec booth at the EAA airshow, and you had some serious $$ in your pocket, you might be able to buy a "show special". I recall they had special pricing for last year's air show on their demo engines.

Business End

Here is a picture of my spandau with bullets. I went to the local gun show and purchased 8mm bullets and shells. I drilled and screwed the round to the sheet metal feed belt. Ah the smell of cordite in the morning.
