Best of luck chaps!

Are you still going with the planer option or table saw? If going with the saw then use a fine tooth blade to avoid chipping edges of ply.

we are going to use a Joiner (Jointer?).... you know, the electric planer thingy that's upside down.

The only problem I see with using a planer, is that it will only plane parallel to the opposite side. It will not square up adjacent sides as does a table saw.

It’s not a planer in the sense your thinking, it’s just like a table saw, it has a fence but instead of a blade it has a shaver like a planer. At this link is a picture, don’t get jealous it’s not that pretty but it’s a work horse.

Why builders get divorced!

Here is the reason builders get divorced. This is Jim and my self at my 5th anniversary in Newport RI. There were about eighty people in one room, the same room we were standing in. Notice, no people, no wives, probably talking about airplanes, this is the wrong answer!!!!!!

Just make sure that IF you have a divorce.....she can't get your plane!
I was really nervous for awhile there....but I was able to keep it.
