Where to find the hardware...

Hi all,

Would it be a good idea to create a repository of good sources for the bits and pieces we need for our precious aircraft?

I myself am looking for slotted brass wood screws in Imperial sizes (for instance No 2 x 1/4). Any advice? By the way - do you know whether an Imperial No 2 screw is the same size as a US No 2?

Best regards,

Magnus

good idea Nomma! it is better than all of us making these things from scratch. if a few people who have the capability and interest can manufacure some of the important components for sale, i am sure we can group several items into a production run. otherwise, where to find these things? i have wondered if it is easier to find these things in old Eastern-bloc countries, but you need someone there to help research the sources out.

No problem Jim, I have the possibility to get things like this made in the east.Like Fokker wingnuts or turnbuckles. If you like I can get same pictures from already made parts.
