Hi Max;
Welcome aboard! Leo Opdycke's "WWI AERO" has been keeping, publishing, and updating all the lists you are interested in, for forty years now. It has been keeping track of all existing WWI survivors, replicas, repros in private and public hands (flying and non-flying)and also keeping track of all the projects in progress. It is exceptional because they usually publish the contact address and information of most of those involved. It is the ONE aviation publication I most look forward to-out of some 100 or so, I receive from all over the world. It COULD use some fresh blood-if only in a subscriber membership-as we need to keep replacing the old-timers who have left us.. I heartily recommend that you subscribe..I contacted this forum to see if they can restore the missing link to WWI AEROs web-link, on this forum (upper left-"links) that seemed to be missing at the time I post this. If not try calling Leo at 1 845-473-3679..or write him at:
WWI AERO; 15 Crescent Rd; Poughkeepsie NY 12601
A years full of WWI photos and news (both original and modern repro) WWI aircraft photos, dwgs, history, museum reports and much much more, is only a tax-deductible $42. How're you gonna beat that with some 476 pages a year?
