Today we covered the fuselage of our Dr.1. Naturally, it took the entire day to do. I have a dozen or so pix that I will post in the next few days, but things went smooth for the most part. The only hitch in the process was the the "linen envelope" was made so exacting by wolfenbill that we had to cut a short section of one of the seams so that we could pull it over the pilot's foot hold just aft of the lower wing.
Before we covered the fuselage the LeRhone was removed and the side panels were attached. Generally the steel tubes were cleaned and touch-up paint was applied where needed. Behind is the DVII which is almost ready for test flight. You can see the linen for the DR1 atop the pile of wing bits.
