Spad 13 project
This is an amazing peice of engineering and craftsmanship. I've watched the top wing being assembled here at The Old Kingsbury Aerodrome and the amount of detail and little pieces of wood used in the design is mind blowing. All I can do is wonder how the French where able to produce this plane under the demands and pressure of war time.

Sgt. Pepper and a bunch of other guys showed up at Kingsbury and did a bit of triplane work. Still a while before it flies though.

Fokker D.VII Project Status?
Is Buck's D.VII ("Julie") ready to fly soon? Any recent photos?

Buck's DVII
Roger has told me that my plane is on the back burner. I guess he is too busy with the spad project and his laser business. I think what still needs to be done is checking out the engine after the modifications. Roger has said that he is going to start the required FAA check out and will fly the plane. I hope to see it home in the spring of 2007.

Gary, Buck
Next time I'm up at Kingsbury, we'll drag it outside and take some pictures. I know I'm ready to hear that Gypsy Queen make some good rumbles.

Just for fun
When things are slow around the office, I've begun building a 3-D Bleriot using the Kingsbury replica as my refrence model. BUT I had to find images of the original engine on the internet (I think the Kingsbury engine is about 80 years newer). Here is my progress so far. I'll keep posting until it's done.

for those interested in Buck's DVII
I just got called today by Ellison fluid power, the company that made the throttle bodies for my plane. They are being shipped out today. Roger had to check them before Ellison could finish them. The reason they called is so I could pay for shipping. O.K. Roger firer that mother up!
