Clerget 130hp
I have been trying to obtain blueprints for the Clerget 130 for some time.
I now have everything I need to start a replica Camel, but have fallen
flat on the Clerget. I am a Tool maker and building the engine is the first
thing I want to do. Can anyone help? Surely this engine has it's original documentation or has been blueprinted after a rebuild.

130hp Clerget
Colin
You could also try the Royal Air Force Museum in London England. They have a vast amount of original data in their archives. You may also get overhaul and parts manuals. There was a 140 hp Clerget built by Gwynnes in England. It had a 10 mm. longer stroke and a higher compression.
If you are going to re-manufacture from drawings why not go for the Bentley 150 hp BR1. They may have drawings for this engine and it was reputed to be better than the Clerget.

In London are no Clerget drawings ,there are some drawings in Norway. The drawings I have is the the long stroke version.all Clergets I did see made in England are from Humber. I also have the Br1 drawings, but this is for sure not the better engine.many people did look in England for Clerget and Bentley drawings and maybe still looking for the Clerget exist a very good overhaul manual.

The US Air Force Museum has the 130hp engine in their Camel and they have a Bently BR2 on display that you can get right up to & touch it if you want. It is interesting that Humber made them. Very interesting.

Clerget 130 hp
Franzkait hello
Thanks for the additional information on Clerget Drawings, I was not aware that Humber built the Clerget in UK. I know that Humber built Bentley 150 hp and I think also the Bentley 230 hp.
I have seen a Clerget 140 in Australia with a brass plate on the crankcase stating that it was manufactured by A firm called Gwynne in England. It looks as if Clergets were made by several different firms in UK. Not unusual in WW1.
I would be interested to know if you have copies of the plans for sale, if so what would be your asking price.
Best regards
Mustang

Mustang, I had 7 Clergets in my hands, and I think only 1 was a short stroke.I remember the one we made the drawings from had no nameplate, so maybe this one is a Gwynne. I also tuk a Br1 apart to make the drawings, but I have to look in my picture collection to see if it is a Humber or not.It is like the 110 Le Rhone, over 20 different companies made them.make an offer about this drawings, but it was a big job to make them.

Franzkait, do you have spares for the 150hp Clerget? I am looking for a camdrum or plans thereoff. Also do you have pics of the magnetos as I am unsure about the originality. Also I would be looking for a carb and an oilpump.
