Ross Walton F.I 103/17 Replica for Sale
http://www.vintageaerofabrics.com/index.html
Ross Walton's heavily modified Sands Triplane is for sale. The replica has a Le Rhone rotary, curved leading edge on the horizontal stabilizer like F.Is, no wingtip skids and very realistic markings based on the latest research. It flew beautifully in its current configuration at the 2005 Dayton Fly-In. Sure costs less to buy one than build one if you count your own hours as worth something.

Dogtail2- Have not flown a fighter since 1991 at RAF Lakenheath (WSO in
F-111s) and this is really tempting. Great deal for somebody since Fred Murrin built the engine and Rick Bennett installed it and Ross makes and sells the fabric. So you know it is one of the best available.

Hi Ed,
It looks to me that it is still for sale for $130,000. If you go to the bottom of the page, you will see it states "Also for Sale Airco DH-2". He may have not sold the Dr.I.
Best,
Dave W.

Dave
You are right, it hasn’t sold, my mistake, looking at the page now its plane to see that; that is an asking price and not a SOLD price. It was late, and the side car was on the large size…..
Sorry
Ed
