Snipe

Maybe you are right.or, perhaps it could have been the seasonal variation of the equinox.

Franzkait could you give us a good technical reason for this interesting geographical variation as opposed to incorrect fit to the rims and less than recommended inflationpressures

Need Help

I am running into problems with the wing on the landing gear. The 20mm x 10mm stringer appears to run the entire length of the wing, but I am unsure how it gets around the metal structure on the axle box ...

If anyone has any insight ... it would be very helpful!
Thanks

Jeff,

Do you have a sideview showing the position of the stringers in reverence to the axlebox? They have to go over and under the box I think, but ours is constucted a bit different.

Wing Problem

Here is a side view. It appears like I simply shave off some of the stringer to get around the metal ... but what did Fokker Do?

Jeff,
Attached is a section of Herb Kelly's drawing of the D VII gear. It is probably the clearest of any drawing that I have seen.
Note that the two outer ribs have alarge relief in them to go over the axle box ends.
