Jeff, Count me in for enough pyramid plate to do 2 D VIIs. I'll need material for the wing walk areas and the heel plates in the cockpit. Glad that I read your post, I was about to call them...
Regards,
John

I have already been all over that site, and Achim too. they don't have textured aluminum anywhere near the pyramid texture posted on FTS. but I am still glad you brought it up ... it's what this forum is for!

Today, I worked on the throttle and mixture linkages. It was actually kinda neat! All those years of not paying attention in math class! I had to figure the travel of an arc and the length of the lever. I went online for the formula.

The throttle on the lowest hole was 149 mm from pivot point to pivot point ...

The throttle travel was 56mm ...

I had worked out a tube inside a tube bellcrank ...

Looking great Jeff! Thanks for keeping us posted.

Btw - we ran into the same ranger mount issues you did on our SE5 (dried out, shrunken rubber sliding out of the tube). We're looking at either buying a bunch of new rubber inners, or making them ourselves. Will keep you posted on what route we take.
