Lightbulb Repro Wheels

I am looking at the feasibility of making reproduction wheels for my Sopwith Triplane project. Palmer Cord Aero style.

I work for an engineering company that has some great contacts. My Industrial Designer colleague is starting on the 3D models of the wheels to help automate the production a little (machining the hub mostly). He is donating his time and sorting out production methods.

For a very reasonable fee he will also do the CAD files for ply wing ribs (or other similar bits) for different designs and can get them cut if people are interested.

Would others be interested in a production run? If so, do you want tyres with the raised lettering or clean so they can be used for other nationality aircraft? Also, what size?

I'm not looking for money yet - just an idea of how many people would buy. Higher volumes = lower prices. Once I have numbers I'll post a quote.

Price is very important. I now know of four people interested - I'll get a quote and let you know.
