Last we heard from herr Engels about it - eons ago; a year-and-a-half anyway - this was slated to begin in mid 2006.

I sincerly hope you do not mind if I drop in here, since you have not addressed your question to me directly, but since it is one of my projects you are interested in (and the thread even bears my name in it), I thought it would be aprobriate to answer.

Well, let me give you some first hand information regarding the Pfalz D.III and D.IIIa I will do.

As mentioned in the FTS Project thread, I decided to put it at the end of the line since it does not have top priority at this time.

All that is done so far are four rudders, a set of drawings for wing ribs and some more research work. (isn´t that something that could be considdered a start?)

I don´t know why, but you seem to bounce me in the side for whatever reason.

Just be patient. As most human beings do, I only have two hands. And even my day only has 24 hours of which some are even occupated by dealing with issues like this one here at the moment - and other stuff as well, of course.

If your point is to say I am a loudmouth, well its up to you. You are in good company with some others here who will tell you that I am even too stupid to hold a level.

In case I got you wrong, please take my appology.

I did not say, however, that the Pfalz is a top priority project and that it will be finished in May 2006.

Can you tell me why it is that people are so impatient sometime?

Why do you ask others? How should they know anything about my shedules here.

Just let me ask you to be patient. I am sure the Pfalz will be done before the next decate is over.

Oh... Another prediction I hope I can stay true to.

I hope the answer satisfies your urgent need for information on my Pfalz D.III projects.

I furthermore hope you understand that my two hands are staying busy at present with the other projects which you certainly follow as impatiently as you do with the Pfalz D.III project.

And please forgive me, if I take the liberty of deciding about priorities in my life, but I am in the lucky position to do that.

Dear Achim,
No one here has said anything that could possibly be interpreted as hostile towards you, and yet your response indicates that you feel otherwise. It's only a question about your Pfalz; everyone here has got their juices up since the latest Osprey book on Pfalz aces has come out, and anyone who is tackling a Pfalz is fair game for questions such as these.

BTW, the guy who said you were "too stupid to hold a level" was making a joke, at least in my view. In English, usually a statement totally contrary to fact is considered humorous. Does such a form of humor exist in German?
