Dr1, 100% Original

Garfield and Valentin ,
I think to build a 100% original Dr1 is a fantastic good thing , and if it is possible I need one too . I have this idear allready for a long time .I think we have to meet and talk about it .I can offer some possibilitys about info and drawings. And I have collected a lot of Dr1 stoff. All we need is a good builder .I live the most time in Italy / Genua ,we can meet in my house , or we fly to Riga . Garfield , where are you located ?

Mathias- If you want a really realistic Dr.I powered by a real Le Rhone (Oberursel may be too hard to do and dozens of Dr.Is were fitted originally with Le Rhones) you need to talk to Langdon Badger in Australia and Fred Murrin in Pennsylvania, in addition to Garfield and Valentin. With your last name, they will probably be very happy to talk to you.

Hi! .... with a name like Mathias von Richthofen posting here in this forum, leads us to say, you must tell us sometime about yourself.

Was MvR a relative in someway? Way not an Albatross?
