Having engine mount in same place as wing strut connections seems troublesome. This is why I asked questions about your first pictures of it.

It looks like mount suggested by Udo makes it possible for front engine support to meet top of bearer tube in front and behind wing strut connection.

It also looks like Gypsy Queen without gear reduction like you have might have engine mounts different distance from propeller and so not have same problem.

I hope I have said this clearly.

If not, tell me, and I can make some sketches. But still, what Udo shows looks better than my idea.

best, John
Thanks for reply.
I can not do any tube in back do to starter and alternator installation So I did two tubes on bottom.

The front engine attachment must be there do to location of engine.

Please do a sketch and send to I would like to check others opinion.

Thanks Jeff again for posting my pictures.

This one is my design for Chipmunk and LOM engine installation and second one is Corvair engine install in my aircraft.
