sory for late reply. The bolts are AN stock, barrels are from brass mat. 360 and 5/16 hex landing gear is next size up.

Pavel,

Thank you for the reply. I'm taking a machine tool class this semester and thought this would be a good project.

Your projects are looking very good. I wish I had been able to spend more time looking them over last fall.

How is the prop coming along?

Pavel,
Any news on the prop? I don't know if I asked you the question before but is the nose of your Fokker going to be longer due to the extra length of the GQ70? If so how much. Also how much weight difference is the 70 vs the 30?
What is your feeling on the 70? Are they much easier to procure and have extra spare parts available?
We are now doing weight and balance to my plane and I will probably have to add some weight to the nose. Wondering if you will have to add weight also.

I was going to take some video of the engine running but I ran out of disc space and have to go back and try it again. It started right up. Oil pressure looked good. We also added a cht gauge to check temps to make sure we have good air flow around each cylinder. We only ran it up to 800rpm since we didn't have all the cowling buttoned down and the cowling was buffeting quite a bit at 800rpm. It does leak some oil. I have the plane back in Indiana now.

Super job! I am in the midst of restoring a Dr1, and am also building components for DIII and DVII. I was wondering if I can ask for a copy of the drawings for making the propeller? I have asked Achim, as well as others with no response.
If anyone here can help out, it would be greatly appreciated.
