Memorial Flight DVII F update: DVII in flight

Hi everyone,

Back on the aerodrome to end our thread on the DVII.

Some pictures of a fantastic engine flying again !!!
The tuning period is now over and the D VII flies great,
We now understand better the feelling of allied crews when seeing such an impressive plane
Maybe one day we will see at least two flying together.

You will find higher quality pics plus a video on our website soon.
www.memorial-flight.com

Best to all.

Arno

Where did you find that image Gary it doesn't show on their website?
Seems a square piece is missing next to the wateroutlet of the radiator.

Dear all,

The pictures and the video will be online next week so RobW is not stupid

The picture from Gary shows what can happen when the front nut gets loose .
It happened at the end of the second flight Thursday evening. No big deal and it was repaired
for the Friday , but it is a good lesson since we did not check the nuts at the end of the first flight.

Phil asked for a comment on the flying qualities of the D VII, I will post a report Monday.
