Hi,

How is Fred Murrin these days ? Has he fully recovered ? Is he still in New Zealand helping Peter Jackson get his air force off the ground.

Spam and Fred

Hi,

No, I certainly would not buy anything from a spammer like the one who posted those messages. Yes they are persistent, and certainly a pain! Thanks very much for deleting the messages! ... especially such messages posted on a thread dedicated to the health of someone we all hope makes or presumably by now has made a full recovery. I certainly hope that he is helping Peter Jackson to get his air force off the ground! I take my hat off to both of them!

Regards,

David.

you're welcome, david. and thank you to the three people who hit the report post button on this one and the many of you who tag other spammers as soon as they post. they don't last long around here.

regarding the thread choice, i doubt the spammer took any time to choose what thread to post to. probably done randomly and they may not even read english.

I almost reported the spam too, and probably should have but at least three people did. Haha, yes, shot down in flames with the Spandaus! Nice work!

You're probably right, the spammer probably did not take any notice of the thread he or she chose to hijack, but it just seemed to be very disrespectful. I certainly wish Fred all the very best of wishes, and his work is truly inspirational.

Cheers,

David.

Would that make them "Spamdows"?
Hank

I am also one who would really like to hear from Fred and what he is up to. A lot of folks here were really worried about him. Heard (second hand) he recovered well, but nothing like hearing from Fred himself.

Thank you, AAC for quickly clearing out that spam. Your "spamdaus" are working very well. You must be an ace by now!

All the best to Fred!

Would be nice to hear from him here.

ha, spamdaus. good one, k.

we'd be missing a lot of spammers if you guys weren't good scout pilots for us.
