A Pup Project

While at Oshkosh, I bumped into a gentleman who has a Sopwith Pup project that is well advanced. Joe Hauk was kind enough to forward a picture of his project:

He is doing this from Kiger plans and is doing the fuselage in steel tube. The powerplant will be a Warner. Joe has acquired original instruments for his project.
Joe wasn't familiar with the Aerodrome so I pointed him toward it. I hope we hear more from Joe regarding his interesting project.

Wow, that looks terrific! It'll be great to see how this progresses - lucky devil for securing a Scarab, too!

Is there any chance you can forward me Joe's contact details? I'd dearly love to get in touch with him and swap notes.

ZuluYankeePapa, Standby for PM on subject. And don't be afraid to post pictures of your project.

Thanks Sid! I've recieved an email from Joe with several pictures - a major help, as my Pup project is *very* similar in several ways.

Oh, I'm not afraid to post pics - I just need to have progress to show! The first materials have been ordered and are inbound, so stay tuned!
