Resources available to replica builders
HI all,
I am starting this thread for those replica builders who don't own machine shops or can't find a machinist available to make small production runs for their projects. When I first started out, I couldn't find a machinist who would even speak to me because my project was too small or for liability reasons. I'm sure there are others in this situation, and having a list of resources out there to choose from here would greatly increases the number of projects being built!
I would like all you guys out there who are willing make nice parts for projects to advertise their skills & locations here for future builders.
If possible, post pictures of your work ... it sells better.
I am going to ask the moderators to make this thread permanent for future builders. I hope they do.

I know Roger Freeman makes kits for the sopwith brackets and Fokker DVII wing brackets, as well as a Dr.1 kit. (if someone has a picture please post it) he can be reached at: vahf@gvtc.com or try (830) 639 - 4162
his site is here Vintage Aviation Historical Foundation
I know of three folks who I hoped would post here, but I will speak to them as far as what information I should release. I think it would be best if they post it themselves so I don't assume anything!

Hey Jim, I think it was about 85.00 per dial peice including the new art work they had to do. I tried to locate my receipt for them but the paper work is ummm shall we say a bit shuffled I had to take the faces out and send them too Precision but that was no sweat...well a bit maybe but not much!
