the left piston is a Oberursel made bevor 1918 , the other one is a Le Rhone made after the war . The Oberursel is the better piston . Oberursel piston rings are made from cast iron like a modern engine ,Le Rhone rings are made from steel . Oberursel had 3 different type of piston pins , I use the later ones .
So how do the lightening holes look like at the late ones ?

lost wax castings , the best way to build this con rods . made from 4140 and I have enough for maybe 10 engines .
grinding original con rods for repair

franzkait- Here is a Ur.II rocker arm with lightening holes. Not sure at what serial number the change was made. I assume your engine will have copper intake tubes for a Dr.I. We know 2968 had steel tubes and it came off of E.V 108/17, which was shipped to the US after the war. Photo courtesy Markus Pleyr.
Early Dr.Is had Ur.II engines with plain rocker arms.

I belive this is a Dr1 rocker arm , same valve type like for Dr1 125
