Jerry Yagen has the 80% Albatros in a hangar at Suffolk, and also a reduced scale Pup and a full size Fokker Triplane w/Warner engine. Also the ex-Ryder Halberstadt Cl.IV.
You guys need to organize a working group meeting and iron out all these building issues (powerplants/drawings/materials and so on...). Bring what info you have and lay it down on the table and decide where you need to go next to get these planes built. You all need to be face-to-face and not use this forum as much to get work done. I mean it has its purpose, but its pretty limited...

Its been a while....are you just making a fuselage for fun?
In regard to the scarfing of skins. The nasm book is pretty correct there when it comes to 5390 too. The skins are scarfed leaving a lip roughly one laminae thick on the aft edge. 5390 was sanded back in many areas to remove the original green paint in the 1970s which has reduced the edge a little but the bottom surface is essentially unaltered and features the described edge quite well. Note: the scarfing diagram in the NASM book represents the side skins (From memory here....) and the upper/lower skins' 'raised' rear edge sits roughly between the side skin rear edge and the bulkhead. thats about 30-35mm and 70-75mm aft of the bulkhead. Dont worry about being ultra exacting...the original isnt.
I managed to get the port lower longeron cut in last night ready to glue up tonight, and I'll get the front ends of both longerons done tomorrow night after the epoxy is well and truly set in the front bulkheads. Theres a bit of pressure on the glue joins there and some additional curing time would (I believe) not be unwarranted.
Im now spending a lot of time sanding, filing glue off. I hate this part.

?? Jan... is something wrong? These guys are collaborating from across the globe... yes the forum is limited, but at least it got them together to begin with. Your note sounds like this whole thread is an annoyance to you...
By the way Rob, what part of NOVA are you from? I'm down near Charlottesville myself. Well actually in between C'ville and Richmond, but closer to C'ville.
ZZ.

Thanks Jeff, If this deal doesn't work out I'll be interested for sure. Does $2500 with a new prop and extras sound like a good price? It runs, but I'm sure it needs an overhaul.
