Error above.

The above hole was for the through passage of the tacho' drive when the radiator (same component ) was used on the RF5...(from memory...would have to check to be sure ).

John I must say that your work is far better than some of the original parts I have seen
The individuals that rejected your work must be jealous of there own incompetence to do it.

Hi there Tengew....Roger , .thanks for that , .I presume you are refering to postings #123 , 125 ,150,153.......Just to clarify ,.They haven't actually "rejected" my work, in fact they were constantly saying that it was TOO good, which , for them actually WAS a critacism in so far as they wanted it QUICKLY ,and the quality is very much secondary.....As far as they , the Royal Air Force Museum were concerned , It took too long simply because it outran the admittedly unrealistic estimate that I was pressed to give in the first place......EXCLUDING the present Deputy Director , who seems to be a reasonable sort of chap, ..I have generally been dealing with either people who didn't even know what an FE2b was , or others of total intransigence , ..who would not* make allowances for the enormity of this project in a typically British tunnel visioned beaurocratic way.........What this amounts to is that I do not employ a lot of people and therefore cannot meet their time schedule,..consequently no more work........The attitude to this project from certain quarters at the RAFM over the last fifteen years would most certainly astound all you guys ,IF ,I were to publish the torrent of what many would say to be threatening & harrasing letters that I regularly received (* The author of most of these same has since retired)...They contrast diametricaly to the public image towards this machine , that the latter now try to portray.....There has been quite a lot of resentement towards me over the years on a personal level ,that I had hoped might have dissolved since the hand over some two years ago but I remain to be convinced...??
