Nope, no down thrust. It is just an allusion in the photos.

Conservative estimate is 15-18 gallons OK I've been corrected, the math says 21 ggallons based on the computed area, but zero right now, LOL has a few leaks

The leaks are getting fewer. Finished welding the tank today except the filler neck and the fuel gauge flanges (on order). Mike and the guys did a great job of fabrication, the welding was very easy. Can't wait to see it installed this weekend!
