Here we are,
Jimmy Glen's Mount is getting closer to completion! WE got quite a bit done this weekend. The Tach, reduction drive and cable came back from the cable specialist, so we installed that Saturday afternoon after clearing up some paperwork that was over due,

We also finished up the exhaust and added the "bungs" for smoke.

and Today VIOLA! the Lower right wing now has Fabric on it and the tail feathers are in Silver! Also Last week we finished up the Ailerons through the tapes and final Nitrate coat.
here are some pics.

Yours Truly Mike Damiani and Mike O'Neal brush the first coat of Nitrate into the wing fabric while Joe Parkinson supervises...

This is Mike O'Neal after breathing too many Nitrate fumes!

The wing factory continues,

working on #1 wing and beginning rib stitching, and stretching the fabric on wing #2. WE had some extra help today, Rick Andres who builds some gorgeous model airplanes was on hand to help with the fabric stretching and gluing on the reinforcing tapes.

Mike, do you have a pattern/template for the instrument panel? Looks really good, and the covering is coming along nicely! The view of the ironing is dramatic because it well shows the airfoil and delicacy of the Pup's wings.

Chip,

We used the actual pup drawings from Hawker and adapted it to our needs. We didn't save the cardboard pattern we made unfortunately .
