Latest Triplane Progress
With the holidays behind us and my work schedule getting a little better the progress is picking back up. The center wing leading edge is going on and the upper wing is well under way. Paul Sr. is still building ribs to finish the upper wing. We started the covering of the landing gear wing today, pictures to come soon.

Looking good! Nice to see the authentic center wing cutout. How did you make the curved part?

Cutout,
The cutout was made by soaking and laminating a bunch of 1/8" strips of spruce on a form.
the Idea was thanks to all of Achim Engels excellent photos of his build.
Looks Good Paul!

A small milestone today, the LeRhone engine mount was finished and the engine mounted for the first time. The engine still needs and overhaul, that will happen when the fabrication is complete. We hope to have the fuselage back on the gear in the next few days.
A birdseye view of our fighter factory. Pardon the mess!
To help with a previous question, this is the simple jig I used to laminate the strips for the center wing cut out bows. The 8 strips were 1/8 inch thick. I formed it with a band saw and then a belt sander.

Hi US95Damiani,
On the engine mount plate that bolts to the engine ring has a hole in the 6 O'clock position with the for bolts. Is this were the synchronizer gear mechanism get bolted too?
Great to see another LeRhone. Do you know what country manufactured it?
Lloyd...
