Wheels
Hey Von Writter,
What size are they?
we're looking for 28x3" Clinchers. We're actually considering having a set built up from Hubs we have on hand.
Thanks for the info,
On another note if anyone has a 110 or 125 Warner maybe even a 145 or 165. We are in need of one for the Sopwith Pup project. donation or reasonably priced overhaulable engine

Hey, they are a little smaller than you were looking for I guess. They are 26 inch over all diameter that is the tire diameter. They say 19X3 on the rim. Here is a photo of them. They have a bushing in them to accept a 1.75" axle.

So who's plan are they using? Is it metric tubing?
I looks like they ordered a throttle mixture kit for someone, do you know who made it.

Different plans
Lloyd,
It is a mix of Sands, Redfern, Engels where possible and some of Gary Sewells work, and reference to original photos. The throttle kit I believe is from Jeff Brooks and we purchased a fittings kit and trigger kit from Roger Freeman.
Our Spars were built up on Sands original Spar Jig and we were able to purchase quite a few parts from Sand's Widow which made the job that much easier.
Our Spars are done, we're halfway through the ribs and
Currently we're working on the Gear. it should be up on the gear here this coming weekend.
More Photos to follow

US95Damiani,
Thanks for sharing your photo on the build. I like the fact that your taking the different plans and Gary's information to modify it to your liking. When I was at the DPR last month Fred Murrin had his uncovered Dr.I (F.I) fuselage in our booth. I wanted to take it home with me but I think Fred would miss his LeRhône engine
Yes, I remember seeing Jeff's display at the show as I'm not a builder thought it would look nice up on the book self. I should have take a photo of his display price.
Have you decided on the markings yet?
Lloyd...
