Deperdussin B and Gnome Omega
Hi all
The association to which I belong (Museu Aero Fénix, in Portugal), got a project under way (well, first baby steps) to build a replica of a Deperdussin B, the first military aeroplane in Portugal. I got two students in their first year of Aerospace Engineering interested in doing some CAD/Solid Model work for this project. Right now they will be heading towards the Museu do Ar (Portuguese Air Force museum) to measure and detail the Gnome Omega they have there. The idea is also to build a replica of this engine. By any chance can anyone give a hand with plans or drawings of this engine? Info on the Deperdussin is also welcomed. Aero Fénix managed to get the plans from the Museum in Le Bourget but we are still trying to track down where they where stored... thanks for all your help
