YAAAAAAUGH!!!!
Having done some more homework on the subject, I have come up with a means of creating the Albatros D-V and D-Va hull. I have figured out the mathmatics on the variouse relationships to the point that I belive myself capable of re-creating them reliably and rather inexpensively in whatever scale I settle on. I AM NOT AN AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER!!!! I do not know how to design and build wings, mount motors or do any of the minor details that allows the wretched thing to fly! I am aware of the center-of-gravity issue, but not much more.
Is there someone knowledgeable on these things that would help me in such lunacy? The trade-off is that once I (perhaps I should say, "we") build one that flies successfully, there remains the jigs, formers and experience that allows further manufacture of these beasties. This aircraft was designed to be mass-produced by a country short of raw materials.
Any takers?

Gregory-

Not to take the wind out of your sails, but the Dv fuselage, as has been discussed here, has been reliably documented dimensionally(Waugh's drawings for example). What could a mathematical deliniation at this point do? Am I missing your point?

If, on the otherhand, you have a new construction method to share, then I'm all for it! Or perhaps a relatively simple photo study procedure?

Please tell us more. New blood is always helpfull and new ideas are needed. I am not an engineer, either, but I do build real aircraft- sometimes for a living.
