I recently saw a film concerning the Vickers Vimy replica. *I thought it was great and the Vimy is probably the most exotic replica built to date. *Are there other candidates for that title?
I saw it when it passed by Rome on his flight to England. Great. The title is its own, as far as I am concerned.

The replicas have a different airfoil.

Brad
The replica Gee Bee hasd the same airfoil as the original. *Part of the reason the wanted to build it was to prove it would fly safely. *If they changed anything that would negate that very reason. *The builders were very careful of keeping everything as original as possible. *300 sheets of original plans still exist, Howell "Pete" Miller, *the original designer, also helped with the project. *The official website is here * http://www.geebee.com/
