French Turnbuckles & Hardware .

Hi .

I'm looking for Material Specs. & Dimension Drawings for WWI French Turnbuckles

Thread from 3,5mm through to 8,0mm Diametre .....Eye & Fork ends ,..Various lengths .

Also , would like to obtain samples , if possible .

You may have already tried them, but I think that Skysport had a few available, Tim's an A1 guy to deal with "but a bit pricey".

Still hoping that someone will come up with some Official STAe Drawings & Specs. ..................( or "Any Other" drawings of FRENCH Turnbuckles)

Anything that may be found in Ellic Somer's drawings would have been British. I'll call Bill.

You are correct ,... all the data that Ellic collected will be from British manufactured S7's , which were not operational on the West Front .
All West Front operated machines ( British & French) were of French manufacture .

I did ask Bill , some while ago , if he had any drawings/data sheets etc. on French Turnbuckles , but he said then that he had nothing at that time ......Maybe he has found something since .

I may end up having to "back engineer" these things from original examples that I might? be able to obtain .
