Wingnut Wings has just released several airframe (Fokker, LVG, Albatross, Sopwith) and Propeller (Bristol, Axial, Garuda) decals in full scale:

How many per sheet? It looks like only one!?! $14 for a decal, bit stiff, if you need 10 of them.

Yes, but you can say "Why yes, TVAL helped me build my plane, so that's why I want $150K for my 7/8 Fokker".

Wingnut Wings Decals

I've just ordered a 'Fokker factory' logo set from Wingnut Wings for my repro Fokker D.VII rudder and fin (by Achim Engels). I'll apply the two logos after the white and black tail painting is finished:

I'm so glad someone has finally reproduced these factory decals in full size!

Love the Fokker and Axial logos. I have seen and have photo of the original Fokker logo that Andy Park has, I real glad that these are available. Since I don't have a plane I will place them on my car back window.

Decal price

Knowing the art costs and process, sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Wonder if they will be doing Wolff and Heine prop decals?

Tony,

I am not aware that Heine used decals on propellors. It is a small oval with the company name inside and stamped into the wood.

John

Heine propellor

John,

Thanks for the info. I have not seen a good picture of a Heine prop and assumed (incorrectly) that there would be a factory decal.

Best Regards,

Tony

Tony,

Come and visit and I'll show you one.

Here's the logo:

And this is how I found the prop

.

On top of a cabinet in the back of a curio/collectible/junk shop. Out in the middle of Nowhere, Ontario. Sort of the last place that you would expect to find a 1918 dated, Fokker D VII prop. The sign on the right, blocking the blade, states that it is for a 'Mercedes airplane'. At least it wasn't painted silver.

Regards
John
