Have not seen the final book yet, but I can assure you that Les knows his UK squadron markings. He has been researching since the fifties and is an acknowledged expert.

Bob Pearson provided the colour profiles and I'm sure needs no introduction.

Buy it, you won't be sorry.

Buy it, the photos alone are worth the price of the book. Originally just over 1,000 photos were submitted to go into it. If you're into British aircraft... or WWI aircraft in general it is a must have on the shelf.

When will there be a book like this on German markings?

Carl - Have to agree with you - would love German markings. British markings - olive drab and a different white letter or fascinating geometric figure...SSSNORE ! (just kidding !) Seriously though, I know difficulties abound with German markings but is anyone working on a comprehensive book on this subject ?
