I vote for René FONCK but I would have vote for NAVARRE or DORME if they were suggested.

To be quite fair, I should have voted for René Fonck - his record speaks for itself. However I voted with my heart and not my head, so I gave my vote to Georges Guynemer.

Hello,
answering to Barrett, I think Navarre and Dorme were the most talentuous french aces by their skill and I like their lonely wolf spirit.
When he was sevelery wounded on 17 June 1916, Navarre had 12 victories and 15 unconfirmed victories (In June 1916 !!!!!!!).
When René Dorme was killed in aerial combat on 25 May 1917, he had 23 victories and at least 17 unconfirmed victories.
Yes, I think they were the best frenches pilots in world war one.
