Exclamation Barry Hickson RIP

Message to the members from Barry Hickson's daughter.

I am Barry Hickson's daughter and I am sorry to inform you that Dad passed away on the weekend. I know he was a member of your forum but I'm not sure if he posted under his full name or as 'gully-raker' .

If you could let members know of his passing please as I think he had some friends on the forum.

Due to Covid and the lockdown situation we will not be holding a funeral at this time but will arrange a celebration of his life when family and friends can come together and give him a send off according to his wishes.

Hi there. I am very sorry for your loss. I think your Dad was very active on here, I never met or spoke with him but for some reason I liked him a lot. I think that was because he was very supportive of people posting messages on here & often when I went to "like" a post your Dad had already done it. Best wishes & condolences Rob

I am sorry to hear this. He was one of the guys who continuously visited this Forum and supported the beginners among us.

Rest in Peace...

My Gallery
Barry was a true gentleman and a passionate enthusiast of WW1 aviation. I wish we could have met in person. He will be dearly missed around here.
Blue Skies my friend...

I'm am shocked and saddened. I've only met Barry on this forum but he was one of the nicest, friendliest people I have met. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. R.I.P. my friend.

Very sad and he will be missed. Barry has been a wonderful, encouraging support to so many here. Now he can have all his questions answered.
