Question--> Where would one begin to get their WWI aviation collection appraised?

Hi Amy;
I've done many major and minor aviation appraisals. You would need to tell me what the purpose is for. Is it for selling purposes, insurance, tax-deductable donation or?
I have apprasied everything from early aircraft for estate attornies, to unique aero engines going to Smithsonian for tax purposes, to appraising unique Wright Brothers items for sales in formal appraisals. I've never had ONE appraisal questioned or challenged by the IRS. I have the proper forms to submit to them for these purposes. Can also do "informal apprasial" if you just wish to know a good selling price for a piece of aero memorabilia that you are interested in selling or buying.
Down to old aero magazines & photos etc. Can do most of these from good photos or digital images & lists. If it is something very rare & valuable, like a rare aircraft, I might need to inspect. Have done this for many attornies, museums and private collectors for Many years now.
I can supply references...Feel free to contact me by email.
