Another piece of fabric. Authentic?

Following is images from a piece of fabric that supposedly came from same aircraft as the one discussed in this thread. http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=24277

Fabric piece has between 52 and 54 threads per inch. Front side is almost completely covered in what I assume is clear dope. On top of this it appears to have been completely covered with a very dark brown/green paint. Most of this paint has flaked off from being handled and stored in an old envelope for many years.

Thoughts?
