GT's Albatros cockpit animation video.

Here's the latest WIP update from GT for Knights of the Sky (Albatros D.Va cockpit animation video download):

Fabulous stuff really. WWI air warfare is finally getting the deluxe treatment it deserves.

Can you imagine how freakin' good a Gontermann Alb. DVa is going to look? Or Udet's Candy stripe DVII (avatar - ahemm)?

I really hope they include leader streamers as that would just complete the picture.

Having them would really help in enabling formation fighting too!

Good point as, of course, the actual WWI formation leaders didn't stream them for aesthetic purposes.

Ok, maybe one or two did.

Greg,

Here's a bit more of a progress report on the sim's present build state (via Viktor Sechnoy):

"In december we will have this engine ready, and at the moment we are runnin thru negotiations with our publisher (1C) and it will be finally clear with all things. Around this date (~december) you will got details, dates, press releases and such on official basis."

Fantastic! This is the very reason to upgrade my video card to a 512 meg.
