US Early Aviators

Looking for information on the following aviators from 1916/17. They were either instructors or students at the Christofferson School in San Francisco, Redwood City.

Guy T Slaughton - probably the flight test inspector for the Pacific Aero Club / Aero Club of America.
Frank Bryant - probably an instructor.
Will Parker - possibly an instructor. He apparently served with the Air Service in 1917/18.
Gus Jamison (or Jameison) - student?
Ralph Planteen - quote "A good student. I think from Minnesota."

Any information or leads appreciated.

I have a good bunch of photos related to Early Bird Helen Hodge, and her training at the Christofferson School in 1916, where she qualified for her aviator's license with Aero Club of America and meeting all F.A.I requirements for such.
Guy T. Slaughter (is the correct spelling) wrote her a long 2-page, typed letter on Pacific Aero Club stationary full of details. Her photos at the Christofferson School, show her in several different type aeroplanes, from Christofferson tractor, to Curtiss Pushers. There are numerous signed photos, and there are several letters, including one from Frank Lahm, mentioning to say hello to Frank Bryant. I'll see what else is in the file, as to earlier letter mentioning Bryant etc.

Try this

Ian -

Give these two a shot. Ralph Cooper maintains this website and covers most of the very early US fliers. Only these two qualify as "very early "!

Bryant - Frank M. Bryant
Parker - Will D. Parker
