Fighterwing 3.1

Hello everyone,

Sorry if this breaks rules but how to speak and discuss a new flight sim without naming it is difficult to work around.

I am a small cog in the development of a small Android based WW1 combat flight simulator for your phone or tablet called Fighterwing 3.1

Its a Free To Play Sim available to download for free on google play.
Because of the passionate & knowledgeable people in this group I would love to get some of your feedback and opinions on what we have achieved so far and any suggestions for what we could add in the future.

Here is a link to a quick trailer video I made so you can see the type of gameplay you could expect.

And a download link for google play if any of you would like to try the Simulator for yourselves.

*(please note the terrain map is currently being upgraded and will soon look much more realistic)

please feel free to comment or ask questions id love to know your thoughts.

I like the retro look, but how good is your flight model?

I just bought a retro AV-8 simulator on steam, and the flight model is hopelessly unrealistic, which totally turns me off.

Of course, Android sims work under more difficult restrictions, and I'm not even enjoying X-Plane on Android though I am a massive fan of the PC version, so I'm just asking out of idle curiosity since I am clearly not the target audience ;-)

Regards,

Henning (HoHun)

"Tiny Combat Arena", for the record. I totally love the retro look, but I just can't stand the flight modelling.

Hi, we have an amazing lead developer and the goal is to try and make the sim as much a sim as possible and to try on a mobile platform to stay away from the arcade style.
Each aircraft has its own unique flight model which we try and make as realistic as possible.

If you get kills even from our practice drones you can transfer your rewards into gold for new aircraft and upgrades.
You also have the ability to adjust sensitivities for your device to adapt the aircrafts performance based on your style depending if you use the on screen pad, advanced or tilt control mode.
Perhaps take a look at this tutorial about adjusting your controls to get better experience
