40th Rhinebeck Jamboree

I have never been attended this, and I think I better go before I'm another year older....

Anyone have recommendations for logging?

I'm going too. I've been wanting to go for a long time and will be bringing a Hannover CLII, a DR1, and a Nieuport 28, all 1/4 scale.

Jim,
I'm staying at the QUALITY INN in Hyde Park...1-845-229-0088.
Is that the same Hannover that was at Dayton's 2005 DP?
Jan

Yes, that's the one.

We're staying in Hyde park also, at a B&B ($$!) We booked kind of late and there wasn't much left.

Hyde Park

Seems like a bunch of us will be staying at the Quality Inn in Hyde Park. My husband and I have always been more than satisfied with the accomodations.

Getting ready to hit the road now . . .

Just leaving work now – heading to the house to pack up my gear and head east – planning on being in Rhinebeck on Friday to register for the Jamboree.

Looking forward to seeing the sights, and will try to take bunches and bunches of pictures for later posting!

Any forumites there, I’ll be the rather tired-looking chap with a well-worn Great Planes Dr.1 in appropriate ORA colors, and a couple of Balsa USA birds almost ready to cover (show and tell!). The missus (SWMBO) is flying in Friday night in Albany, and will be tasked with trying to keep me out of trouble! We’re staying at the Quality Inn in Kingston.

Helen and I are very much looking forward to the weekend, our second ever trip to ORA, but our first Jamboree. See y’all there!

‘til later,

Lee McDuffee

Thank You for Visiting!

Many thanks to all who stopped by the World War I Aeroplanes, Inc. booth at Rhinebeck this past weekend. It was a pleasure talking with you all and seeing the airplanes you brought to the Model Meet.

Please be in touch if we can be of assistance to you in researching your favorite Pioneer, WWI or Golden Age aircraft.

I hope to see you again soon on a grassy field where the old birds fly in blue skies with gentle breezes.
