If you haven't seen the Fokkers to Dayton thread, here's a link to the video from the Lafayette Foundation on the plan to bring the three aircraft to Dawn Patrol:

Chuck,
I remember you flying the SE5 back at the DPR03, and its great you can make it back this year.
The major thing that has changed from DPR03, is the new venue now located right in the middle of old Wright Field. The aircraft will be taking off in the long grass strip between the main runway and the taxiway. That's the good news, but now the FAA is the controlling air authority for the event and have changed the flying rules dramatically. Its still is a lot of fun.
Here's some pictures of the venue that is used from now on.

Jan

ah, great to see you getting so organized! i'll print out lloyd's final names list around mid-september, and assemble the tags from there. i'll either send them or will (crossing my fingers, here) hand-deliver them to the event. thanks for the assist lloyd, and as far as how folks can contribute...well, let's see... how 'bout a donation jar by the tags once they're done (?).

Jan and others,
I may fly down in a non-WW1 aircraft. Can we land at the field or, if not, can you suggest a viable alternative?
Regards,
John

Hi Russ,

I'll take you off the list.

Thanks...

AAC Cadet Leader:

I like the idea on the donation jar.

Cadet Leader; Thanks a bunch for your efforts on badges. Like Russ, we'll have the old ones from last time to use. Will keep an eye out for the donation jar as well. Later and greater; FM
