League seminar dates
As soon as someone finds out the date and location of the next League of WW I Aviation Historians seminar could you please post it here. I need to know at least 3 or 4 months in advance in order to get leave.

I was just today wondering if a date and location had been set for the seminar yet.

The venue is looking like San Antonio. We are trying to figure out scheduling. I'll see what I can get and post when I have something.

That's near Old Kingsbury, isn't it? I've got a full schedule this spring and summer, but I'm hoping that I can make it to the seminar.

Don:
Thanks please let us know when you get more confirmations. I have never been to one yet and I'm hoping to go this year.
P.S.
I just renew my subscription and ordered the calendar, hope it's not to late for this and if you have any left.

If we are to have really good attendance this year, the League should push for scheduling asap. In reality, these dates should be set at least a year in advance anyway.
I want badly to be at the OTF seminar, but I have a full year's TV schedule, book tour and racing schedule that's nearly complete now for all of 2009, making time for an event that doesn't even have a date yet is getting more difficult by the day. I'm sure others are in the same boat. There's just no way that the League can announce a date a couple of months in advance and still get a full crowd.
So there's my encouraging word... I hope the League moves the event very late in the year and announces the date as soon as possible!!!

We're finalizing the date and place this week, but everything points to either the weekend of October 15-18, 2009, in San Antonio, TX.
